Complex Formwork
Formwork is a temporary or permanent mould into which concrete or similar materials are poured to harden. Generally, formwork is removed after the concrete sets but permanent formwork is left in place and acts as an additional stabiliser.
BFG Architecture provides a wide range of formwork solutions using GRC, UHPC, and FRP. Thanks to the versatility of the materials, BFG can create unique, practical, durable and cost-effective designs that are lightweight and can significantly reduce construction times and costs. Composite formwork enables architects to push the envelope, allowing a design flexibility which traditional formwork materials such as wood and steel are unable to offer. Complex geometric patterns and double curvatures can easily be created, offering an unsurpassed creative freedom for commercial and residential projects.
BFG Architecture offers formwork solutions for all areas of construction activity. From housing developments, transportation infrastructure, and power-generation facilities, to building the world’s tallest structures, our formwork systems and components are ideal for any construction project. BFG Architecture’s highly experienced team of experts can help you choose the best material for your project based on your budgetary, aesthetic, and functional requirements. |
